I had a bit of time for a layout earlier, and since I was also home alone, I decided to make a video! The layout it’s based on the single page sketch for Stick it Down, and I had lots of fun making it!
I used papers from Shimelle’s first collection and other Shimelle embellishments from other collections and I am so happy with how it’s turned out! Here it is:
I had a tiny accident when splattering the black Heidi Shine, and I smeared a tiny bit in the circle embellishment, however I managed to clean it a bit. You can still see it, but not too noticeable.
And here are a couple of closeups:
And I made a YouTube process video! Here it is:

It is not quite the end of the month, but I know I am not going to be making much more before August arrives, so I thought I would get my Layout Lookback video done today 🙂 July wasn’t as busy as May (I don’t think I’ll get another busy month like that again!) but I still managed quite a few layouts.
Here they all are:

Hello everyone! I think this is going to be my last layout of the month unless I manage to get something else done at the weekend!
So today’s layout is inspired on Stick it Down‘s July single page sketch. As you will see from the video below, I started the layout following the sketch quite closely, but when it came to putting my photos down, I decided to rotate it. This means, though, that the stars at the top are not very straight, but this does not bother me too much.
I decided to use lots of washi tape. There was a conversation on FTLOPP about washi tape, and I realised how little I use mine, so I picked my favourite colour combination and made stars out of them 🙂
Here’s my layout, and the video!

Hello everyone! Today I’ve got a layout that I’ve created with a sketch from the Stick it Down blog. It’s a very interesting sketch, and the layouts that I have seen created with it are very diverse… people have really taken very different interpretations!
This is my layout:
And this is the sketch:
I had these three strips of scraps leftover from a previous project and I promised myself that I was going to use them rather than throw them away (like a few people suggested!) so here they are! I have used mainly Paige Evans Oh My Heart collection, as I still have tons left!

After the crazy whirlwind of National Scrapbooking Day, I am back today with a layout created for the Stick it Down challenge. I used a sketch from Laura Rumble, which – in my opinion – was asking for a lot of stamping in the background, so I went for it! So much so that I may have gone a bit too over the top. Oh well… 🙂
Here is my layout:
And the sketch:
I used a stamp set that I’ve had for some time, which I hadn’t used to its full potential. It’s from Simon Says Stamp and it’s called “Flip flop season”. I actually loved going a bit crazy with the stamping! Unfortunately I also dropped the stamp in a couple of places in the cardstock, so there are a few marks… But it happenes to seasoned stampers too!

I hope you have liked it, and read you soon!
