Scrapbooking Layout – Miss Purple Hands

Hello all!

Here’s another layout that I made last week for the Lottie Loves Paper mini challenge, based on a sketch by Shimelle. The sketch is perfect for lots of journalling so I thought it was time that I told the story of my love-hate relationship with my daughters love for the colour pink 🙂

Here’s my layout and the sketch it is based on:

I have used mostly Echo Park Paper “Creative Agenda” collection. The thickers are from the Take me Away collection by Pink Paislee.

Scrapbooking Layout – It’s my stick

Hello lovely friends!

Today I bring you a very quick layout that I created earlier this week for a mini challenge over at Lottie Loves Paper. Here is my layout and the sketch that it was inspired by:

It's my stick

And the sketch:

For this layout I used mainly Shimelle’s True Stories collection and some circle die cuts that I already had in my “odd shapes” box 🙂

Cyber Krop

Hello everyone!

So yesterday afternoon/evening I got to participate in an online crop. It was like doing NSD all over again! It was actually great fun, because it was done with a very small group of people (I would say there were about 15 of us participating yesterday) so it felt cozy and very personal. The Cyber Krop was hosted by Katie and Julie, who run the Inspired by Memories group on Facebook.

There were 5 challenges yesterday but I only managed to make 4, which is amazing due to time constrictions and having the kids in the house in the afternoon, and then having to have dinner, and put them to bed and all of that! I did something that I hadn’t done in a very long time and scrapped well into the night! I went to bed at almost 1am!!!

So here are the challenges and my layouts:

Challenge 1: Make a layout inspired by the sketch below, with one rule: Ripped paper! (I don’t “do” ripped paper, so I kept it to a minimum)

You lift my heart up

Challenge 2: Theme is The Outdoors, and the layout must include 3 embelishment clusters, Layers, A hand cut title, buttons
and enamel dots and/or bling.

Explore

Challenge 3: Theme is “Let’s Eat”

Thai red fish curry

Challenge 4: Choose a title from these 3 words: Grow, change or thrilled. Use at least 3 of these mixed media techniques: stitching, gelatos, watercolours, mists, inks, enamel (and a few more that I can’t remember right now)

So thrilled

I didn’t get to even start thinking about challenge 5, and there will be a few more this afternoon, so we’ll see how many I get done in the end!

Thanks for visiting!

Scrapbooking layout – Super cool jeep

Hello everyone, and welcome again to my blog!

There was another mini challenge last night again on the Lottie Loves Paper facebook group, with a new sketch, and I played along!

This is my layout and the sketch it’s based on:

For this layout I used a new Echo Park collection called Just be you. I bought it recently and I thought I should use it rather than hoard it like I would normally do! It’s a really pretty collection with a darker green than I am used to, but I thought it suited these photos quite well any way. And I only used the collection! Apart from the date stamp and the little phrase stickers, every single item on this layout came from the pack! That’s so unusual for me!

Here are a couple more close ups:

Scrapbooking Layout – Going to the movies

Morning everyone!

I got to play with pretty paper last night. I created this layout for a for fun mini challenge over at the Lottie Loves Paper facebook group. It is based on a sketch and I really loved creating it! I actually struggled a tiny bit at the very beginning… it took me a while to choose the papers, but once I made the decision the layout came about quite quickly.

Here is my layout, and the sketch that it’s based on:

I absolutely adore the aqua cardstock that I used for the background. I seem to remember that I bought it off Lorraine at the Scrap Cafe crop. I must ask her if she’s got more because I would love to buy a few more sheets! Here’s a close up so you can see the lovely texture that it’s got.

I hope you have liked this layout and thanks for visiting! x
