We have a super fun Tic-Tac-Toe challenge over at Scrapping 4 Fun challenges this month!
This is my layout:
And here’s the tic-tac-toe. As you can see, I’ve gone for the left vertical line: Twine, bling and sequins 🙂
And a little close up of the sequins, bling and twine:
The papers are from Felicity Jane, but I forget the name of the collection!! And the embellishments are mainly from Simple Stories.
Thanks for joining me today, and read you very soon!
Here is another layout I have made for the Scrapping4fun Design Team! This month’s challenge was to use a sketch… and I love sketches! The real challenge for me was the fact that the sample sketch that we were given was for a double page layout and I don’t really do double page layouts! So I had to use my imagination and “translate” the sketch into a single page layout. I think I did quite well! I’ll let you be the judge. Here’s my layout and the sketch!
So, what do you think? As I wanted to use so many photos in such a “small” space, I really had to go minimal so as to not overload the layout. That’s why I kept the pattern papers away, pretty much, and stuck to solid colours.

Thanks for popping by and read you very – very – soon!
Excited news today! I have made it into the Design Team for Scrapping 4 Fun challenges! It is a very varied group of talented ladies, with all kinds of techniques and styles, so I am so excited to bring a bit of “mariastyle” to the table!
The first challenge that I am participating on is #98 and it’s all about techniques. The technique that I am using on this layout is Stamping directly on the page.
I got out all my stamps (I don’t have that many, trust me!) and my versafine ink (my favourite!) and got stamping! I left like a semicircle of white space for my photo, but other than that I pretty much filled up all of the space! I am so pleased with how it turned out! This technique works better with photopolymer stamps and a clear block, because then you can clearly see where you are going to be stamping. I don’t think this technique would work well with wood-mount stamps.

Today I am participating in a new challenge. This time is for the Scrappin4fun blog, and this time the challenge is to use old stash. And man, have I used old stash! Yes I have!!
And here is my layout:
It is a scraplift from this gorgeous page that I found on Pinterest, and the materials used are:
- Everyday Moments by Recollections papers (and they were all scrap papers too! Not a single new page was cut!)
- Buttons and brads from my stash, which I have had for literally years!
- The title is made with Prima alphabet stickers and Making Memories shimmer alphas (does Making Memories even exist any more!?) that I’ve had for a long long time!
And a couple more close ups:
I hope you have liked it and thanks for visiting!
