This is the third and last layout that I made at the Scrap Cafe crop on Saturday. I used papers from the “Tealightful” collection by Pebbles, and the embellishments are mainly Cocoa Vanilla Studio, from the “Love Always” collection. Both purchased from Lottie Loves Paper.
I had to retouch the mixed media under the papers once I got home, as what I added at the crop was mainly hidden by the papers. And as you can see, I went fro a cream textured cardstock, rather than pure white and I think it looks great!

This is the second layout I created at the Scrap Café crop on Saturday. And I love love love it!
Definitely, this turquoise textured cardstock is one of my most favourite. I love all the layouts I’ve made with it lately! For the florals, I wanted to use a paper by Dear Lizzy that a lot of people have been using lately, but I didn’t have it, so I rummaged Lorraine’s stash until I found this perfect one! Fussy cutting at a crop is not a great idea, since you’re “wasting” precious time, but I didn’t care. I was there to spend time with my crafty friends, and the number of layouts was secondary!
And here it is:
And a couple of close ups:
As you can see, I haven’t added any journalling. That’s because of two main reasons:
- I felt like it would spoil the very clean feel of the layout
- This photo was taken the same day as my previous layout (lovely cousins) and they will go side by side, so no need to add more to it.
I hope you have enjoyed this, read you very soon!
I was at the Scrap Cafe crop yesterday and I managed three layouts! To be honest, I attend the crop for the chit chat and crafty gossip more than anything, so the number of completed layouts is the least of my worries. Still! I think three layouts in 5 hours is quite decent!
Today’s layout was inspired by Natalie Nelson’s “squares” layout on For the Love of Pretty Paper. She cut her photos and pattern papers in 4 inches square and then stitched all the edges. I wanted to make something similar, however, knowing that I wouldn’t be doing any machine stitching, I thought that leaving a little gap amongst the squares would be better.
I used Dear Lizzy “Lovely Day” papers and most of the embellishments, and some thickers and alphas from my stash.
I hope you like it!

Well, both this blog and my YouTube channel are one year old! I have no idea where time has gone, but here we are, we year on and still loving blogging and making videos!
To celebrate the first anniversary, I asked the girls on For the Love of Pretty Paper to come up with questions and here it is! I hope the video is not too long and that you enjoy it!

Today’s layout has been made for the new letter prompt on For the Love of Pretty Paper’s ABC challenge. This week the letter is S and S is for Squares! We want people to feature squares on their layouts. Be it small squares or large ones, one or many… Up to you!
I have created quite a few “squarey” layouts lately, so today I wanted to make something a bit different and I decided to create just one big square as the main focus of the layout. I have used Cocoa Vanilla Studio “Wild at heart” collection, which is so gorgeous!
Here’s my layout and video! I hope you’ll watch!
