Excited news today! I have made it into the Design Team for Scrapping 4 Fun challenges! It is a very varied group of talented ladies, with all kinds of techniques and styles, so I am so excited to bring a bit of “mariastyle” to the table!
The first challenge that I am participating on is #98 and it’s all about techniques. The technique that I am using on this layout is Stamping directly on the page.
I got out all my stamps (I don’t have that many, trust me!) and my versafine ink (my favourite!) and got stamping! I left like a semicircle of white space for my photo, but other than that I pretty much filled up all of the space! I am so pleased with how it turned out! This technique works better with photopolymer stamps and a clear block, because then you can clearly see where you are going to be stamping. I don’t think this technique would work well with wood-mount stamps.
And a couple more close ups:

Today I am on the Silhouette UK blog with a 3D card for my kids nursery teachers! Today is their last day of preschool before they start “big kids” school in a couple of weeks! Eeek!
I hope you’ll visit and read you soon!
I am on the Silhouette UK Blog today with a quick tutorial on how to fill in text with patterns. This is ideal if you don’t have the right paper for your layout. The Silhouette Store has lots of printable patterns!
Please come over and have a look!

I am on the UK Scrap Addicts blog and Youtube channel today with a new layout about clustering!
I hope you’ll come and have a watch!
Today’s layout was done for UK Scrap Addict’s Grab 5 challenge. To celebrate that we reached 500 followers on Instagram, we asked our followers to suggest items to do a Grab 5. And these are items:
- Pattern paper for background
- Embossing powder
- Half used sticker sheet
- Large title
- Number stickers or die cuts
And it was a bit of a challenge! Especially introducing embossing powder! It’s one of the most neglected items on my stash!
Here’s my layout:
And there’s a process video too! Come and watch!
