For today’s layout I wanted to use scraps and that is absolutely what I’ve done! Not a single full piece of paper was cut to create this layout!
The four stripes of paper surrounding the turquoise cardstock are the only leftovers, proper scraps!!, from the layout I made the other day for the Silhouette UK blog. The turquoise cardstock and background stripey paper are also scraps! For the embellishments, I took a half-used pack of “snip-its” by Cocoa Vanilla Studio, form the Colour Me Happy collection.
I hope you have liked this layout and thanks for visiting!

I’ve got a new scrapbook page today that I created for the ABC challenge on For the Love of Pretty Paper. This week the letter is V, and V is for vellum!
I had a look through my stash, as I was sure that I had some clear vellum (well, “clear” is not really the right word.. it’s a tiny bit opaque, but you know what I mean), but I couldn’t find it. So I went for the last piece of the super gorgeous printed vellum by Cocoa Vanilla Studio. I took inspiration from this layout by Crafty Jen Schow that I found on Pinterest.
And here it is!
In case you are wondering, no.. Chole is not a spelling mistake.. there is a story behind the name, and I have a layout planned to tell that story soon!
I hope you liked this and thanks for looking!
Hello friends! It’s the first of September, which means I have a new layout lookback video on youtube!

Today’s layout I created just on Monday for a mini challenge on the Mercy Tiara facebook group, with a Creative Scrappers sketch set by Moira 🙂
Here’s my layout and the sketch:
I used the You Rock collection by Cocoa Vanilla Studio. I am very pleased to say that I still have enough papers and embellishments for at least 4 or 5 layouts more! <3
Here are two more closeups:

This is the third and last layout that I made at the Scrap Cafe crop on Saturday. I used papers from the “Tealightful” collection by Pebbles, and the embellishments are mainly Cocoa Vanilla Studio, from the “Love Always” collection. Both purchased from Lottie Loves Paper.
I had to retouch the mixed media under the papers once I got home, as what I added at the crop was mainly hidden by the papers. And as you can see, I went fro a cream textured cardstock, rather than pure white and I think it looks great!
