I was on the UK Scrap Addicts blog just a couple of days ago with a new layout and video (Check it out at the end). The layout was inspired in a fantastic moodboard, and as you can see from my layout, what really caught my eye was the frames.
And here’s my video!
Thanks for visiting and see you again soon!
Hello lovely people!
I am back today with a layout that I started last Saturday at the Scrap Cafe retreat (yes, I know I haven’t shown any of my layouts here yet from that day! It’ll come soon…) It is a mixed media layout, and I didn’t have my stencils or stamps with me, so I decided to take it home to finish off here.
And here it is!
I have been saying lately how I am preferring “cleaner” and more simple layouts these days, however from time to time I still like to get messy with mixed media! There are ink sprays, texture paste, watercolour splatters, sequins, buttons, washi, thread, enamel, stamps…. so much!
And a couple more closeups:
I didn’t think a big title with thicker alphas would work, so I decided to go with the Tim Holtz tiny stickers, and I think they work perfectly!
Thanks for looking today, and see you very soon!
Welcome to my blog and to my last layout as Design Team Member for Stuck Sketches! My term is up and I am going to be sad to not be part of this amazing team any more. At the same time, you know how much I’ve struggled to find time to scrap in the last few months, so my term being up perhaps not the end of the world.
This month’s sponsors are Creative Embellishments and Scrapbook Nerd and this is the gorgeous sketch that I’ve based my layout on:
And here’s my page!
As you can see, I have used one long photo rather than two square ones.
This photo was taken at last October’s Scrap Cafe retreat and I am so happy to be surrounded by super talented scrapbookers!
Thanks for joining me today, and read you soon hopefully!
Apologies for the lack of updates lately. Unfortunately, once again, life has taken over and scrapbooking has taken somewhat of a second focus.
I didn’t get a chance to share my layout for UK Scrap Addicts last month. Last month’s theme was to choose a shape and use it on your layout. The other ladies in the Design Team went for stars, hearts, etc, so I decided to keep it more simple and stuck with squares. I love geometrical layouts, so using squares was just perfect!
And I also made a video! Better late than never.
Thanks for watching!
Welcome to February 15th Stuck Sketches reveal! This month we had two sketches to choose from and I decided to go for this one:
As you will be able to see from my photo below, I decided to rotate the sketch 90 degrees. The photo that I wanted to play with was portrait, so rotating the sketch worked better for me:
As I’ve used doilies quite a lot recently, I decided to do a bit of messy splattering where the doily would be. Very happy with my embellishment clusters too!
I hope you have enjoyed this layout, and I really encourage you to participate! We have really great sponsors this month with Cuts2Love and Lawn Fawn, so what a great incentive!
