This is another layout that I made for the retreat last weekend. I entered it on a challenge that was about regrets, so I decided to go on a little tangent and capture the story of how I got my last job. It is a very personal story, however I didn’t have a problem with other people reading about it and that’s why I left the journalling showing. My layout is heavily inspired by this one I found on Pinterest.
And here it is!
And a couple pf close ups:
Those alphas are so gorgeous!
The papers are from Felicity Jane and Crate Paper “Carousel”. The leaves I die cut at the retreat and the flower embellishments are from 1canoe2.
Thanks for visiting! Read you very soon!
Today’s layout is about my kids’ best friend from nursery. Unfortunately they don’t go to the same school now so chances that we get to see him again are quite slim, so I thought that it would be nice to have a layout about him in the kids album. And here it is:
I am so happy with how it turned out! It is a scraplift of a layout I found on Pinterest (although I am struggling to find it again! All I can remember is that it came from Fancy Pants), and I loved being able to add some machine stitching at the end.
Come back again tomorrow for another layout created at the retreat!
I attended to Scrap Cafe retreat at the weekend and I had a great time! Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to stay overnight in the hotel, which means my scrappy time was slightly reduced. But I still managed 9 layouts, which I am quite happy about (my personal target was 10, but I lost my mojo at the end).
This layout here is one of the last ones I made and one of my most favourite. On Saturday night my scrappy friends Claire and Zoe, and I had a takeaway pizza for dinner. I took the photo and went home and posted it on facebook. Zoe saw it and said “you need to print this and scrap it for the social media challenge!”. So what I did was print three copies, one for each one of us, and all three of us scrapped the same photo! The results were so different too!
Here is my take:
And this is the magic of retreats, this layout was put together thanks to the generosity of my friends! Someone lent me the spatula to apply the paste, somebody else lent me the Heidi Shine Sprays, and someone else gave me the Emoji Love card and lent me the smiley face stamp. Team work!!

Thanks for visiting! Pop over tomorrow for another layout from the retreat!
Today’s layout is for the UK Scrap Addicts blog hop, where the challenge was to use scraps and scraps only! So it was the perfect opportunity for me to take out my Simple Stories “I AM” scraps out!
Here is my layout:
I have been pretty mojo-less in the last few days, so I used a layout that was shared on For the Love of Pretty Paper for our Zig Zag challenge. It is a beautiful layout and I hope I’ve done it justice! After looking for the creator of the layout for quite a while, I finally found the original on the Crate Paper blog and the designer was Anabelle O’Malley.
And another close up:

Hi guys! Apologies for the lack of updates lately, although I can tell you that there are a few layouts coming in the next few days that have been scheduled for design team work.
On top of that, I am off to the Scrap Cafe retreat this evening, so I am planning on getting many many layouts done! Wish me luck! I am a bit annoyed that I didn’t get to book a room to stay over so I will be coming back home every evening, but it’s hardly the end of the world. I just couldn’t afford to book the hotel when the reduced price was offered, and when I could finally afford it, the price had gone up more than double!
I have already packed and I’m taking everything plus the kitchen sink. It’s all in the boot of my car and I will be going to the hotel straight from work. I think I’ll be getting there approximately around 6:30, which will give me time to unpack, eat my dinner and get one layout before heading home!
I will show you my layouts when I’m back!
Have a great weekend and read you soon!
