Hello everyone!
I really hope you have had an amazing NSD and that you have been inspired to get your stash out and work on some pages!
I was very lucky to play along on Friday night and most of the day on Saturday. My own personal challenge for NSD is to complete all the challenges posted on For the Love of Pretty Paper, and so far I am doing great, however I still have six to do!
Here are the first 11 (yes, ELEVEN!)
Challenge 1: Make a layout with a “Spring” or “Summer” theme. Use a photo taken in the Spring or Summer. Your title could include the word Spring or Summer.
Challenge 2: Video Scraplift. Claire Murphy, Jess Claire and I created a scrapbooking process video and the idea was to watch the videos and choose one to scraplift. I chose to scraplift Jess’s, in Project Life format. Below are my original layout for the video and Jess’s scraplift.
Challenge 3: Use the single page sketch and double page sketch from UK Scrap Addicts:
Challenge 4: UK Scrap Addicts cut files. There were several to choose from, and I chose the Mandala one. I didn’t cut it, though, just printed it and watercoloured it.
Challenge 5: Tic Tac Toe challenge. I created a tic tac toe grid with several techniques to use. I created two layouts, one as a sample for the challenge and one I created during the actual challenge! Here’s both.
Challenge 6: Songs and Films. Use a Song title, song lyrics or Film Title or scrap about music/TV or films in some way! I went with the animated film The Gruffalo 🙂
Challenge 7: Video Scraplift. The same as challenge 2 but with videos from Sarah Roulston, Laura Rumble and Scrapbook Bex. I chose to scraplift Scrapbook Bex, although I still want to do the other two!
Challenge 8: Use a Big or Long Title or Lots of Journalling. I went for long journalling on a scraplifted page from Victoria Marie.
Challenge 9: Scraplift your very first layout (or one of the first you ever made!)
And this is it for now! I will come back at some point next week when I have finished all the remainder layouts!
Thanks for popping by!
