Hello scrapbook fans! Welcome to my blog once again 🙂

Today I bring you layout #4, my last layout as Guest Designer for Lottie Loves Paper.

This layout is a bit similar to the “Lovely” one I made the other day, as I use the same vellum paper, however, this time I am using it slightly differently! Instead of painting the actual vellum, this time I have watercoloured the patterned paper from the same collection, and layered the vellum above it, giving a very cool effect! The vellum is only attached at one point underneath the photo, so you can lift it and see the paper underneath with all the watercolours 🙂 Unfortunately, the pattern in the paper and in the vellum don’t quite match up, but I still think the effect is quite nice.

The vellum and patterned paper are from Pinkfresh Studio and the rest of the embellishments and papers layering the photo are from Dear Lizzy. These two collections actually coordinate quite well!

And here’s my layout!

  1. It’s so nice. Is the vellum patterned as well or did you trace the images on it? Love seeing vellum done differently like this.

    • Hi Meghan! Thanks for your comment! The vellum is patterned with the same motifs as the paper below. I coloured the shapes in the paper underneath, so they show through the vellum. I also created a similar layout the other day (Page called “Lovely”) where I painted on the vellum with Heidi Swapp color shine and the effect is also lovely 🙂 Thanks for stopping by!
