So the last crop of the year has come and gone. What a nice day I had… It was quiet, everybody seemed to be concentrating a lot on their layouts and there wasn’t as much chatting as there has been before, but it was still a very nice atmosphere, very friendly and I feel more and more comfortable there the more I go. I’m not sure I am going to become “best friends” with the ladies there anytime soon, but I still really enjoy their company.
I managed four layouts yesterday. I think I would have been able to squeeze a fifth one, however I did some mixed media on my second layout, with texture paste and ink splatters which took a long time to dry… Next time I need to avoid texture paste, or just take my heat gun with me! (I asked all the ladies at the crop for a heat gun but nobody had taken one…)
All in all I am very happy with all four layouts. One of the things that I really like about attending crops is the sheer amount of tools available to borrow. For example, for my first layout (First BBQ) I used a round border punch, a square punch, a notebook border punch and the typewriter. For the second layout (Feed me baby) I borrowed the mask for the mixed media…
So without further ado, here they are!
